The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University, successfully organized an industrial visit to India Glycol Limited on 08th August 2026.
During the visit, the students gained valuable exposure to various industrial processes involved in manufacturing, production, and quality control. They developed an understanding of the industrial work environment, safety practices, regulatory requirements, and quality standards followed in a professional setting. The visit also provided students with insights into the company’s manufacturing facilities, process operations, and quality assurance practices. Additionally, students learned about the applications of industrial products, sustainable manufacturing practices, and the importance of innovation and technology in the chemical and pharmaceutical-related industries. Overall, the visit enhanced their practical knowledge and helped them understand the connection between theoretical concepts and their real-world industrial applications.
A memorable part of the industrial visit was the motivational interaction with Mr. Swatantresh Mishra, HR Head, India Glycol Limited & Ms. Garima Singh, Senior Executive, India Glycol Limited, who encouraged the students to pursue excellence in their academic and professional careers. Their inspiring message emphasized the importance of dedication, continuous learning, innovation, and maintaining a clear focus on their career goals.
