A Memorandum of Understanding signed between Parijat Industries & School of Applied & Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University for research collaboration. As a part of this collaboration research project of Rs. 21.5 lac has been granted to Prof. Ajay Singh (Dean-Research & PI), Dr. Vandita Pandey (Co-PI). The Project focuses on the Study of Industrial Effluent and Reduction of Ammoniacal Nitrogen & Toxic parameters from waste water. Representatives from both organizations express their commitment to building a long term strategic partnership. Project signing was graced by Parijat Industries delegates Dr. Rajeev Ranjan Jha(President, R&D Chemical and Manufacturing); Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma (AGM, Health Safety & Environment). Uttaranchal University’s leadership was represented by Shri Jitender Joshi, President; Prof.(Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro VC; Dr. Rajesh Deorari (Director- IQAC); Dr. Ajay Singh (Dean-Research & PI) & Dr. Vandita Pandey (PI-2).
This Collaboration will facilitate joint research activities, knowledge exchange Programs and development of industry relevant solutions. This marks the beginning of mutually beneficial relationship that will strengthen the innovation ecosystem and contribute to economic and societal development.
