The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Uttaranchal University, organized an industrial visit to the ordnance factory on 8th April 2026.
The industrial visit to the Ordnance Factory, Dehradun, provided valuable exposure to polymer processing, product development, and advanced manufacturing techniques used in defense production. It helped bridge the gap between theoretical aerospace concepts and real-world industrial practices, particularly in the areas of composite materials, precision manufacturing, and quality assurance.
On this occasion Prof. (Dr.) Summit Chaudhary, the Dean of UIT, and the heads of aerospace departments of UIT, with aerospace faculty, were present.
