Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences organized a Poster Presentation Competition on March 7, 2026, on the occasion of International Women’s Day with theme “Empowered Voices: Celebrating Women through Ideas, Innovation, and Expression." The event aimed to encourage students to express their perspectives on women’s empowerment and social transformation through visual communication.
Students enthusiastically participated and presented thought-provoking posters on diverse themes, including Knowledge as Power, Self-Reliance, Liberating Self, The She Energy, Nature to Nurture, and Strengthening the Roots. The posters reflected creativity, critical thinking, and awareness of contemporary gender issues, highlighting the role of women in shaping society.
A panel of judges evaluated the entries based on originality, relevance to the theme, presentation, and overall impact. The competition witnessed active participation and healthy competition among students. The top three winners were awarded for their outstanding presentations.
The event was planned and coordinated by the Women Cell, UCHS, under the guidance of the director, UCHS, and successfully fostered awareness, confidence, and artistic expression among students while reinforcing the values of equality and empowerment among the students.
