The Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University, organized an Educational Tour to Udaipur, Rajasthan for PG and UG students from 26 February 2026 to 02 March 2026. The tour provided students with a valuable learning experience beyond the traditional classroom environment. This initiative connected classroom learning with practical experience by providing real-world exposure.

Before the departure of students from the campus for Udaipur, Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Director USCS addressed the students and extended her best wishes for the journey. She encouraged students to actively participate, observe carefully, maintain discipline, and represent the institution with pride.

During the tour, students visited several historical and ecological sites of Udaipur, including the City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Sajjangarh Fort (Monsoon Palace), and other local palaces and heritage locations. These visits not only enhanced their understanding of the region’s cultural heritage but also provided insights into the ecological significance and environmental management practices of these areas. The exposure to Udaipur’s natural landscapes and architectural marvels made the educational tour both informative and memorable for all participants. On 2 March 2026, all arrived at Dehradun after completing this exciting journey.

The tour was successfully coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Sameer Dev Sharma, Ms. Manisha Saini and Mr. Aagman Kaparwan
