The School of Liberal Arts successfully organised an Alumni Meet on 12 December 2025 from 3:30 PM that brought together former students, faculty members, and current students in a warm and engaging atmosphere. The event aimed to strengthen alumni–institution ties and create a platform for interaction, reflection, and shared learning. The programme commenced in the morning, with students from all courses collecting their degrees from the designated desk from 9:30 a.m. onwards. This facilitated a smooth flow of participants and ensured that the alumni meet activities could begin in an organised manner. The presence of alumni from different batches added to the vibrancy of the event and created an atmosphere of nostalgia and pride.
Prof. (Dr.) Kartikey, Director of the School of Liberal Arts, along with Dr. Reeta Rautela, Head of Department, formally welcomed the alumni. They interacted with the alumni and engaged in meaningful conversations on career trajectories, employment opportunities, and the changing landscape of jobs across disciplines. Alumni shared their professional experiences, challenges, and insights, offering valuable perspectives on skill development, adaptability, and lifelong learning. These interactions proved enriching for both alumni and faculty members, strengthening mutual understanding and professional connections.
An interactive “Post Your Memories” box was set up as part of the event, inviting alumni to write and share their memorable experiences from their time at the institution. The collected notes reflected a strong sense of belonging and appreciation for the institution. Additionally, a dedicated selfie point was created, which became a popular spot among alumni and students. It provided an informal and joyful space for capturing memories, fostering camaraderie, and celebrating shared experiences. The event was duly coordinated by Mr. Jageshwar Ray, Assistant Professor, SLA.
