Alumni Meet at School of Agriculture

 

The Alumni Meet of the School of Agriculture, Uttaranchal University, was successfully organized on December 12, 2025, with great enthusiasm and active participation from alumni, faculty members, and students. The programme commenced with a traditional tilak ceremony, warmly welcoming the alumni and setting a positive, vibrant tone for the event. 

The inaugural session was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Sharad Pandey, Director, School of Agriculture, Uttaranchal University, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the vital role of alumni in the institution’s academic growth, professional networking, and development. He appreciated the alumni’s achievements and encouraged continued engagement with the university. This was followed by an alumni interaction and experience-sharing session, where alumni shared their professional journeys, insights, and guidance with current students. Their experiences served as a source of inspiration and motivation for the junior batches. The event also featured cultural performances by students, reflecting the campus’s creativity and vibrancy. 

The programme concluded with high tea and group photographs. The Alumni Meet was a memorable occasion that strengthened lifelong bonds and reinforced alumni association with the institution.
