The Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, organized a Sahaja Yoga Meditation Session on 17 November 2025. The purpose of the session was to help students reduce stress and anxiety, understand the science of the subtle system, and experience the state of thoughtless awareness through the awakening of Kundalini energy.
The session was graced by the esteemed presence of distinguished experts in Sahaja Yoga Meditation — Shri Neeraj Mohan Saxena (Retired Defence Officer), Dr. M. N. Jha (Retired Senior Scientist, FRI), and Shri Rajinder Singh (Retired ONGC Officer).
Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Director of USCS, emphasized the importance of meditation in improving concentration, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
Dr. M. N. Jha provided an insightful explanation of the Nadis (Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna) and the seven Chakras, highlighting how imbalances in these centers impact emotional and physical well-being, and how meditation strengthens the subtle system.
This was followed by a guided meditation session led by Shri Neeraj Mohan Saxena, during which students experienced Kundalini awakening and learned practical balancing techniques. Many reported cool vibrations, deep relaxation, and a reduction in thoughts.
The session concluded with motivational remarks from Shri Rajinder Singh, who encouraged students to continue practicing Sahaja Yoga regularly to achieve improved focus, emotional resilience, and inner stability.
Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sameer Dev Sharma, the event was smoothly coordinated by Ms. Nityadeep Sharma, Ms. Manisha Saini, and Ms. Manisha Khanduja. The session successfully fulfilled its purpose by helping students experience the depth and benefits of Sahaja Yoga both intellectually and practically.
