Law College Dehradun, faculty of Uttaranchal University, organized the presentation and final round of 6th National Essay Writing Competition on 17th November 2025 under the aegis of Training & Recruitment Division (TRD). The event was moderated by Ms. Priyanshi Gupta, Executive Member of TRD.
The final round was graced by the presence of our dean (Prof.) Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna Sir, Dr. Radheyshyam Jha, Dr. Kumar Ashutosh, Dr. Ramakant Tripathi, Ms. Ashmita Gupta and Ms. Purnima Tyagi. The round was judged by (Prof.) Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna Sir as [Judge1], Dr. Radheyshyam Sharma Jha Sir as [Judge2] and Dr. Kumar Ashutosh Sir as [Judge3].
Ms. Garima Rana, Secretary Administration of the Training & Recruitment Division, was called upon and the judge’s briefing was done along with the announcement of cash prize which would be given to the participants as per their positions and the number of registrations from pan India. Following this Ms. Purnima Tyagi, Faculty-In-Charge, TRD addressed the gathering, and the presentation round was started. All the participants gave their presentation and dean sir was called upon to motivate and address all the participants.

1st prize - Mr. Abhiraj Singh Nayal, from Law College Dehradun
2nd prize – Mr. Jay Kumar Gupta, from School of Law, Narsee Monje Institute of Management
3rd prize – Ms. Sneha Suzanna Pradhan, from Indian Institute of Legal Studies
The event culminated with a Vote of thanks by Ms. Tanvi Jindal, Convener, TRD.
