As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences organized a one-day program on October 31, 2025, on the theme “Vigilance Towards Health – Our Shared Responsibility.” The event aimed to promote awareness about ethical practices, integrity, and responsibility in healthcare.
The program began with an oath-taking ceremony, where faculty members, undergraduates, and postgraduate students pledged to uphold honesty, transparency, and vigilance in all aspects of healthcare practice and education. This was followed by speech and slogan competitions, where participants creatively expressed their views on the importance of vigilance in maintaining ethical and safe healthcare environments. Students actively participated, displaying remarkable enthusiasm and insight. First prizes were conferred upon Ms. Esther Kormassa Ndama Kamba, MPH II
Ird Semester, Speech category, and Ms. Khushi Siddharth, BPT VIIth Semester, Slogan category, in recognition of their impactful expression and originality of ideas. To further engage participants, a short quiz was conducted to assess their understanding of vigilance and ethical responsibility in healthcare. The interactive session fostered lively discussion and learning among students and faculty alike.
