The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted a free health camp on 20 September 2025 at Shri Panchayatan Mata Durga Mandir, Shyampur, Premnagar, Dehradun, in the Occasion of 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week entitled with the theme Your Safety, just a Click Away: Report to PvPI,” under Pharmacology Club. The primary goal of the Health Camp was to provide free medical check-ups, raise health awareness, and promote preventive healthcare among the community. The camp aimed to reach people who have limited access to regular medical services. In the camp free services were provided such as skin diseases, bones & joints related disorders, Gastro-intestinal diseases, Pediatric diseases, Gynae diseases, ENT related diseases and was supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals including Doctors, Pharmacists, Medical Assistant, and Volunteers include Shreya, Vansh, Rohit, Kartik, Anil, Soumya. Around 100 patients became part of this health camp and took advantage of it. 


The event was organized in collaboration with Uttaranchal Hospital & Diagnostic Centre under the supervision of the Director of UIPS Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering the importance of the health camp. 


The entire event was coordinated by Mr. Akhilesh Nautiyal & Mr. Akash Samanta, Assistant Professor, UIPS. The Health Camp was a successful initiative in spreading awareness and delivering essential health services to the local community. The positive response has encouraged the organizers to plan similar events regularly.
