The School of Liberal Arts successfully organised a Poster Making Competition under the aegis of the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) on 28 August 2025. The event aimed to foster awareness about democratic values and the importance of electoral participation among first-year students. The chosen theme, “Azadi ka Parv, Loktantra ka Garv,” inspired participants to creatively engage with the ideals of freedom and pride in democracy.
Dr Shalini Vohra, Director, SLA, appreciated this initiative, noting that it not only enhanced the democratic consciousness of the student community but also provided an interactive platform for personal expression and community engagement. Participants contributed wholeheartedly, presenting creative and impactful posters that embodied the spirit of patriotism and civic responsibility.
The event concluded with a meaningful exchange of ideas, highlighting the crucial role of youth in strengthening the nation’s democratic fabric. The activity was meticulously coordinated by Mr Jageshwar Ray, Campus Ambassador, SLA, who guided and encouraged students throughout the event.
