On 28 August 2025, the Media Club of the School of Liberal Arts successfully organised a workshop on "Mastering Blackmagic Design" in collaboration with Tech Agility and Media-Xperts. The event aimed to provide students and professionals with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of Blackmagic Design, a leading video production and post-production software. The event was inaugurated by Dr Shalini Vohra, Director, School of Liberal Arts.

The workshop commenced with an introductory session by Mr Anand Sharma, Broadcast Manager, Route Corp India, who briefed the audience on the importance of Blackmagic Design in the media industry. The keynote speaker, Mr Sanjeev Deorani, delivered an engaging session on the fundamentals of Blackmagic Design, covering topics such as camera control, video editing, colour grading, and audio post-production.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, where the speaker addressed queries and shared their expertise with the audience. This helped bridge the gap between theory and practice, enabling participants to gain practical skills in Blackmagic Design. The event was followed by a vote of thanks from Ms Shikha Negi, Assistant Professor, School of Liberal Arts. The workshop was coordinated by Dr Sakshi Negi, Media Club Coordinator and Assistant Professor, School of Liberal Arts.

Overall, the event provided a valuable learning experience for students and academicians, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the media industry.
