Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) celebrated Teacher’s Day on 3rd September 2026 with great enthusiasm and respect, acknowledging the invaluable contribution of teachers to students' academic and overall development. The B. Pharm 4th Year students thoughtfully organized the programme and made sincere efforts to make the occasion memorable for the faculty members. The programme commenced with the felicitation of the Director Sir as a gesture of respect and appreciation for his leadership, guidance, and continuous support towards the institute and its students. This was followed by a floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is observed as Teachers’ Day in India. Students and faculty members offered flowers as a mark of respect and remembrance of his remarkable contribution to education and his vision of the teaching profession.
The celebration continued with an engaging cultural programme presented by the students. Various performances, including dance and singing, were organized, showcasing the creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm of the students. The performances created a cheerful and lively atmosphere and provided an opportunity for students to express their gratitude and affection towards their teachers. To further enhance the enjoyment of the occasion, various fun games and recreational activities were conducted for the teachers. Faculty members actively participated in the activities, creating moments of joy, laughter, and friendly interaction between teachers and students.
