The Women Cell of the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM) successfully organized an inspiring event titled “Bharati–Nari to Narayani” on 5 March 2026 at USHHM. The program aimed to celebrate the strength, achievements, and contributions of women, while encouraging students to learn from inspiring women personalities of Uttarakhand.
The event featured two engaging student competitions: Poster Presentation and Visual Biographies, where students creatively presented the life journeys and achievements of prominent women achievers from Uttarakhand. The activities provided students with a platform to express their creativity and awareness about women’s empowerment.
The competitions were judged by Mr. Nitesh Bhardwaj and Ms. Neha Minocha, who appreciated the efforts and creativity displayed by the participants.
In the Poster Presentation Competition, Mansi (BHMCT – 6th Semester) secured the 1st position, Shriyansh Sawariya (B.Sc. H&HA – 2nd Semester) secured the 2nd position, and Amit Kumar Sirwa (BHMCT – 4th Semester) secured the 3rd position.
In the Visual Biographies Competition, Shivangi Rawat (BHMCT – 4th Semester) secured the 1st position, Anushka (BHMCT – 2nd Semester) secured the 2nd position, and Augustine Basil secured the 3rd position.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Hitendra Singh Chauhan, General Secretary of the Women Cell, USHHM, and conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Manish Badoni, Director, USHHM. The program concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the winners.
