The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University, successfully organized an industrial visit to Tirupati Lifesciences Private Limited on 22nd October 2026. The visit provided students with valuable industry exposure, practical insights into pharmaceutical operations, and a deeper understanding of industrial practices, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications.
A key highlight of the visit was an informative technical session delivered by Mr. Abhinav, Head of Human Resources (HR). He introduced the students to the field of nutraceuticals, explained the various stages of the production process, and highlighted the importance of packaging in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. The session was followed by a guided tour of the production and packaging departments, where students gained firsthand knowledge of industrial operations, manufacturing procedures, and packaging techniques.
The visit proved to be an enriching learning experience, enhancing students’ technical knowledge and providing valuable insights into career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
The students expressed their sincere gratitude to the Honourable President, Shri Jitender Joshi; Vice President, Ms. Ankita Joshi; Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Dharam Buddhi; Director, UIPS, Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, and HOD, UIPS, Dr. Yogita Tyagi, for their constant support and encouragement in facilitating this educational initiative.
The industrial visit was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Jyotsana Suyal, Mr. Vikas Sagar, and Mrs. Deepika, Assistant Professors at UIPS, Uttaranchal University.
The visit was a meaningful step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration and preparing students for future professional challenges in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors.
