UIT, Uttaranchal University Students Shine in Co-Curricular Competitions

Students of the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT), Uttaranchal University, have excelled in various co-curricular competitions across colleges, winning top prizes in singing, rapping, and the Battle of Bands. 

In the solo singing category, UIT student Varun Kumar captivated audiences with his melodious performances, earning prestigious awards in LAW COLLEGE DEHRADUN, IMS UNISON UNIVERSITY and UTTARAKHAND KALA MAHOTSAV. His talent and dedication to music were widely appreciated by judges. 

The rap battle showcased energetic performances, where UIT’s rapper Devansh Gupta impressed everyone with his lyrical flow and stage presence. He secured first place in DIT UNIVERSITY and IIT ROORKEE, receiving high praise for his impactful lyrics and rhythm. 

The Battle of Bands was another major highlight, where Varun Kumar and Devansh Gupta from Band TAPASSV delivered a power-packed performance. Their blend of musical genres, instrumental excellence, and stage charisma earned them accolades and top positions in the competitions held at DIT UNIVERSITY, IMS UNISON UNIVERSITY, and UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY. 

A faculty member expressed pride, stating, “Our students’ achievements reflect their dedication and passion. These experiences enhance their confidence and overall personality.” UIT students continue to make a mark in cultural fests, proving their versatility and setting new standards in extracurricular excellence.
