Guru Dakshata – Faculty Induction & Orientation Program – 2025 was conducted from 10 to 17 February 2025, at the SLA Seminar Hall, organized by HRDC in collaboration with the Office of the Dean Student Welfare for newly appointed faculty members of Uttaranchal University.
The program commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and the University Kulgeet, followed by a welcome address by Prof (Dr) Shravan Kumar, DSW, and an inspiring speech by Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor, Uttaranchal University.
The week-long induction event featured Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Singh, Prof Anita Gehlot, Dr Ramveer Tanwar, Dr Amit Bhatt, Dr Rakesh Semwal, Mr Arun Thakur, Ms Vanshika Rajput, Mr Suraj Kohli, and Mr Upendra Dabral as resource persons. The sessions were moderated by Ms Ritu Baluni and Ms Malika Payal, faculty members of SLA. A total of 35 newly appointed faculty members from various university departments benefitted from the program.
The valedictory session on 17 February included an enlightening address by Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi and a blessing note by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, followed by the distribution of certificates. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof (Dr) Anil Kumar Dixit, Coordinator, HRDC, Uttaranchal University.
