On 27 February 2025, the School of Liberal Arts organized a guest lecture on “Critical Thinking for a Sustainable Future: Innovating Solutions to Complex Challenges” with an aim to inspire students and faculty to adopt analytical and creative approaches to tackle pressing global issues. The session began with a warm welcome to Dr Navneet Shukla, an esteemed expert in sustainable development and innovation. Dr Navneet Shukla delivered an insightful lecture on using critical thinking to address sustainability challenges. He emphasized the need for analytical problem-solving, innovative solutions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to tackle global issues like climate change and resource depletion. Dr Shukla shared real-world examples of sustainable innovations and encouraged students to question assumptions and think creatively. The interactive Q&A session fostered thoughtful discussions on balancing development with environmental preservation. The session inspired participants to embrace critical thinking as a tool for driving meaningful, long-term change toward a sustainable future. At the end of the session, Dr Anita Yadav proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the esteemed guest, faculty members, and students.
