The Lamp Lighting & Oath Ceremony for B Sc Nursing batch students of 2024-25 batch was celebrated at Swami Vivekanand Auditorium of Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.
The event was organized on 10 January 2025. The Chief Guest of the event, Dr Geeta Jain, Principal, Govt. Doon Medical College, Dehradun guided the students regarding professional demand at the National or International Level.
The Guest of Honor, Mrs Priyanka Chaudhary, Nursing Superintendent, Dr K K B M Subharti Hospital, Dehradun provided the information regarding the Nursing profession and the placement level of the Nursing profession. Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice- Chancellor, Dr Anuj Kumar Rana, Registrar, Dr Kartikey, Joint Registrar (Planning, Governance & Liasoning ) were present in the ceremony and guided the students.
Faculty members of Uttaranchal College of Nursing organized this event very meticulously with the help of volunteers. On the occasion, the students showcased their talent through the various Cultural activities. i.e, Solo Dance, Uttarakhand Folk Dance, Rajasthani Dance, Himachali Dance, Punjabi Dance etc.
