Uttaranchal college of Nursing, Uttaranchal University organized on 23/12/24 .A Poster Competition , At Dr. Vidya Sagar Mental Hospital Amritsar ,aims to spread awareness and to stop discrimination against women .Event focused on theme that was ”GIVE GIRLS WINGS TO FLY NOT PAIN TO CRY AND DIE” The main objective of competition was to bring out the creative expression ,Artistic Skills of the student and also to gauge their awareness quotient and also this competition was not Marely to see the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the student and sensitize them towards serious issue such as violence against women.
The judge of the event was Mrs.Chandrjeet kaur Nursing Superintendent at mental hospital .The time allotted for the activity was 1 hour 30 minute .Later participants started representing their posters and also spoke about violence against women .
The Decision regarding the winners was made on the basis of following criteria :

Accuracy and clarity of the message
Neatness
Overall presentation
