HIV/AIDS HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME CONDUCTED IN DR.K.K.B.M SUBHARTI HOSPITAL BY B.SC NURSING 3RD SEMESTER STUDENTS OF UTTARANCHAL COLLEGE OF NURSING

Faculty of Uttaranchal college of Nursing ,Uttaranchal University organized a health awareness programme with nukkad natak by  B.Sc Nursing 3rd  semester students on World AIDS Day, observed on December 1st every year, is a global event dedicated to raising awareness about the HIV/AIDS epidemic, remembering those who have died, and promoting education on prevention, treatment, and care.By the students one health awareness programme organized in celebration of World AIDS Day included an innovative and interactive approach through a Nukkad Natak  to engage the hospital patients as well as attendants ,local visitors and health workers of Subharti hospital were showed their interest in the activity performed by the students  and spread crucial information about HIV/AIDS. And how to prevent themselves from HIV /AIDS in hospital settings .Gave health education through charts .Ms.Monika Massey, Faculty Uttaranchal college of Nursing , coordinated the programme successfully with the B.Sc Nursing Students of 3rd semester .The event is not only educated the community but also empowered individuals to take control of their health and contribute to a more informed and supportive society. Moving forward, it is crucial to continue such awareness efforts and work towards an HIV-free generation through education, empathy, and collective action.
