A Workshop on “Personal Effectiveness and Grooming”

Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS) and Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), Uttaranchal University organized a workshop on “Personal Effectiveness and Grooming” in collaboration with Right Side Story (P&G) on 14 October 2024. The speaker for the event was Ms. Deepakshi, HR, Youth Wellbeing Expert and Mental Health Advocate. 

The workshop was graced by the benign presence of Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director USCS, Mr Arun Godiyal, Director, CRC, Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS; and Mr Saurav Badoni, Advisor, CRC. Their encouragement and insights motivated the students, enhancing the overall learning experience. 

The session focused on grooming, hygiene, communication, and soft skills, empowering students to enhance their professional presence and overall development. Students actively engaged with the speakers, asking insightful questions about maintaining grooming and professional behaviour under time constraints. Participants also received a certificate of participation and goodies from the company.  

The workshop successfully concluded with the invaluable support of Mr Rachit Rastogi, Ms Gurpreet Sharma, Ms Manisha Saini, Ms Manisha Khanduja, Ms Divya Rawat and the dedicated efforts of volunteer students.
