Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences’ mega event, IT-UTSAV 2023, was inaugurated on April 12 at Swami Vivekanand Auditorium. The event was attended by Chief Guest Mrs. Anuradha Joshi (Vice President, Sushila Devi Center for Professional Studies and Research), Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna (Pro-Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University), Prof. (Dr.) Karamjit Bhatia (Gurukul Kangri), Shri. K. B. Pokhriyal (COE), Dr. Rajesh Singh (Director Research & Innovation, Uttaranchal University), Prof. (Dr.) Bharti Ramola (Cultural Head, Uttaranchal University), Mr. Iqbal Singh (Head CRC), and Dr. Ramveer Tanwar (Chief Librarian).
The event started with an auspicious lamp-kindling ceremony, followed by Kulgeet and Devi Stuti. Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma (Dean, USCS) briefed the gathering about IT-USTAV and the various events such as Code Ka Boss, Web Ke Khiladi, Gaming Ke Durandhar, Chakravyooh, Prashan Baan, and Parche pe Charcha. She further elaborated on the role of such events in upskilling students and the significance of student participation in competitive events for overall growth. The master of ceremony was Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak (Head Cultural Event & Academic Affairs, USCS).
