Zenith: The Literary Club of the School of Liberal Arts celebrated Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav on 11 December 2024, aimed to foster the linguistic and cultural richness of Indian languages through a vibrant and engaging program featuring poetry recitations and folk performances. 

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by an organizing member. A brief introduction was delivered, showcasing the cultural and literary significance of Urdu and Haryanvi, setting the tone for the celebration. Classical and modern Urdu poems by renowned poets like Ghalib and Faiz Ahmed Faiz, along with student compositions, were recited. Folk-style poems reflecting humor, rural life, and traditions were presented, capturing the spirit of Haryanvi culture. A spirited Ragini and Dhamaal performance mesmerized the audience. Students and invited singers enchanted the gathering with soulful ghazals. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Deepak Bijalwan, Coordinator, Literary Club expressing gratitude to participants and organizers. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to all contributors. The event fostered a deeper appreciation for the Urdu and Haryanvi languages and cultures among students and faculty. It provided an interactive platform to celebrate India’s linguistic diversity. The event was duly coordinated under the supervision of Prof (Dr) Shravan Kumar Director, SLA.
