The Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, hosted the FESTLA 6.0, a vibrant celebration of creativity, talent, and community spirit on 27 November 2024. Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM, welcomed dignitaries, Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Uttaranchal University, Smt. Anuradha Joshi, Chairperson, Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies & Research, Ms Ankita Joshi, Vice- President, Uttaranchal University, Mr Abhishek Joshi, Executive Director, Students Affair & IT Services, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and our revered Guest Shri S K Mehta who inspired attendees with their encouraging words.
The grand inauguration set the tone for a day brimming with engaging activities like Quiz Bowl Challenge, STP Mastermind Challenge, Portfolio King, Video Storytelling, Tune-Tales, Fashion Show, Singing and Dance Competition, Ek Kapda Daan, Rangoli, Painting and Sketching, Treasure Hunt, E-Gaming, and Roadies. Faculty performances and a live band added charm to the event. In his inspiring address, Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri highlighted the incredible journey of this cultural extravaganza, which began in 2010.
The evening was also graced with a special address delivered by the President, Shri Jitendra Joshi who congratulated UIM to make FESTLA 6.0 a grand success. Impressed with the production and performances, Shri Jitendra Joshi declared a reward of Rs. 50,000 for the UIM team.
The fashion show, the main attraction of FESTLA 6.0 marked the grand finale, adding warmth and excitement to the chilly evening. Adjudged by Ms Kashish Goyal, Miss Uttarakhand 2024 runner-up, and Ms Shraddha Bachheti, International Bharatnatyam Dancer, the event concluded with the winners being felicitated.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony, a major highlight, celebrated the outstanding achievements of students, fortifying the spirit of healthy competition and teamwork. With over 2500 attendees and over 1100 participants, FESTLA 6.0 was a resounding success.
