A Career Counselling session organized by the School of Applied & Life Sciences at Uttaranchal University on 03 October 2024, was a comprehensive event aimed at guiding students from diverse life science disciplines. Prof Ajay Singh delivered a technical session, the event highlighted conventional and unconventional career opportunities, the importance of seminars, conferences, research papers, and eligibility for careers in research and development. Competitive exams were also discussed, giving students vital insights into advancing their careers.
The inclusion of an open discussion where students could directly ask questions shows a hands-on approach to career guidance. It's great to see students from fields like Mathematics, Data Science, Forensic Science, Botany, and Microbiology benefiting from such a session, especially with experts like Prof V K Srivastava and Dr Nishesh Sharma coordinating the event.
