The Department of Civil Engineering at Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT), Uttaranchal University, successfully organized "Infrastructure Safety" on 03 October 2024. The event was graced by Dr Vikas Garg, Professor & Head, Department of Civil Engineering, Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh, who served as the keynote speaker. The seminar began with a warm welcome for Dr Garg, who was presented with a sapling by Prof (Dr) Sumit Chaudhary, Director UIT, and Mr. Gaurav Thakur, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. During the seminar, Dr Garg delved into crucial aspects of infrastructure safety, including structural stability, disaster resilience, and advanced safety measures in engineering. Drawing from his extensive research and experience in civil engineering, he offered valuable insights that left a lasting impact on the attendees.
