In a remarkable showcase of knowledge and enthusiasm, students from the USHHM were awarded winner certificates for their outstanding performance in the (Northern Region) India’s Culture and Heritage Quiz Competition held at the Uttarakhand Tourism Building, Dehradun on 21 September 2024.
Dr Swarna Gupta, Tourism, Manager, Uttarakhand said that the quiz competition, which aimed to celebrate and promote India's rich cultural heritage is a platform for Hotel & Tourism Students to showcase their talent. Quiz Competition saw participation from various institutions across the northern states. Nisha Gangwar, Nigthoujam Roshini, Ashish Amit, Augustine Basil and Pushp Lakheria demonstrated exceptional understanding and appreciation of India's diverse traditions, art, and history, ultimately securing Winner positions in the quiz.
"We are incredibly proud of our students and Club Coordinators," said Dr Manish Badoni, Director USHHM. “Their dedication to learning about India's cultural heritage not only reflects their academic excellence but also their commitment to becoming responsible ambassadors of our rich traditions." The event concluded with a vibrant awards ceremony, where students were recognized for their achievements.
