Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University, organized a seminar on "Emerging Technologies in IT/ITES in Today’s Landscape" on 14 August 2024, for the students of MCA, BCA and Bsc.(IT) by Mr Amit Goel, Sr. Technical Architect Infosys with the aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the transformative impact of emerging technologies on the IT/ITES sectors.
The program began with a cordial welcome, followed by the felicitation of the guest by the Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Dean, USCS. She presented a token of appreciation to the guest, acknowledging their expertise and contributions to the industry, and encouraged students to actively engage with and absorb the valuable knowledge shared. She urged them to seize these opportunities to enhance their skills and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving technological world.
Mr Amit Goel provided a detailed overview of the client's expectations, highlighting the key objectives and deliverables. Further he explained the strategy for meeting these requirements, including the planned phases of development, milestones, and the resources needed to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Under the guidance of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS the event was successfully coordinated by Ms Manisha Saini, Ms Manisha Khanduja and Ms Divya Rawat with the support of volunteer students and technical staff.
