The Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management at Uttaranchal University organized an Alumni talk on “Career Options for Fresher’s in Hospitality Industry” on 20 August 2024. The session was pdelivered by Ms. Divya Pandey, Alumni of BHM 2020-2024 batch.
Ms. Divya, currently working with Taj Hotels in Chandigarh, began her session by focusing on career growth opportunities for participants, particularly for freshers in the hospitality sector. She shared insights into job prospects and the various scopes available in the industry. During her talk, Ms. Divya also discussed the challenges and expectations she faced throughout her academic journey and early career. She encouraged students to set clear goals starting from their first semester, balance academic pursuits with personal passions, and create a strategic roadmap for their future careers.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging with Ms. Divya by asking numerous questions, which she answered professionally and technically. Alumni play a crucial role in institutions by motivating and guiding current students. This session provided a valuable platform for discussing professional achievements and experiences, inspiring and guiding participants to shape a successful future.
