The Uttaranchal Institute of Technology organized an insightful session on "Human Values and Ethics" on 14 August 2024. Dr Pinki Chugh was the keynote speaker for the session, where she highlighted the critical importance of human values in shaping our lives. Dr Chugh discussed the profound impact of values and belief systems on individual and societal well-being, emphasizing the urgent need for these systems to be reinforced in today's rapidly changing world. She passionately spoke about the responsibility of the current generation to uphold these values to create a better future.
The session was well attended by faculty members from the B Tech CSE department, who actively engaged in the discussions. Prof (Dr) Sumit Chaudhary, Dean, UIT also addressed the gathering, urging students to adhere to their values as a guiding force in achieving their life goals. He emphasized that success is not only measured by professional achievements but also by the integrity and ethical standards one upholds throughout life.
The session was a significant part of the induction program, setting a reflective and purposeful tone for the new academic journey of the students.
