Prakriti Club of Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University organized a Cloth Donation Drive in association with Nityanand Swami Jan Sewa Samiti nearby the slum on 20 March 2024. The objective of a cloth donation drive was to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need by providing essential clothing items, promoting dignity and well-being, supporting sustainability, fostering community engagement, and raising awareness about social issues. The clothing donation drive provided relief and joy to numerous individuals. Witnessing the smiles on their faces brought us immense satisfaction in aiding the less fortunate with our modest contribution. The commendable and praiseworthy efforts of all contributors were truly noteworthy.
The drive was successfully coordinated by Ms Manisha Khanduja, Head-Prakriti Club, USCS with the support of Volunteer students
