Uttaranchal School of Health Sciences, Uttaranchal University organized a visit for the students to Max Hospital on 21 March 2024. Max Hospital is a multi-specialty hospital situated in the heart of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It is part of the Max Healthcare network, known for its commitment to providing high-quality medical care. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a team of skilled healthcare professionals.
The hospital orientation visit at Max Hospital, Dehradun was attended by 18 participants including MHA and MPH students from Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences. Mr S S Tiwari and Mr Gopal efficiently coordinated the visit, covering various essential areas of the hospital such as the Emergency Department, Radiology, Pathology, Laundry, OPD, Wards, which provided valuable insights into the hospital's functioning and infrastructure, enhancing the understanding of the healthcare system among the participants.
The visit also provided students with a rich learning experience encompassing clinical exposure, medical procedures, hospital operations, and interdisciplinary collaboration, technology, and communication skills. The knowledge gained during the visit enhanced students' preparedness for future careers in healthcare and reinforced the importance of practical learning opportunities in medical education.
Students extended their heartfelt gratitude to the entire management team of Uttaranchal University Dehradun, for the invaluable opportunity provided during the orientation visit.
