On March 27, 2024, students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, Semester - II, visit to the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation Research Farm in Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. During their visit, students delved into a range of topics including soil erosion control techniques, water harvesting systems, watershed management, gully erosion control methods, and Hi-Tech Bamboo nursery practices. They also had the opportunity to witness firsthand the intricacies of Greenhouse Farming and explore various horticultural practices implemented at the research farm. Interacting with experts and researchers at the farm, students gained valuable knowledge and practical insights that complemented their classroom learning.
