Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences has organized an Awareness rally in Selaqui, Dehradun on World Mental Health Day 2023. The objective of the rally was to aware society about Antidrug or drug misuse. Nowadays medicines become an important part of our daily health life and the public is consuming excess medicines to maintain a healthy life, but they are not concerned about the side effects of medicines.
The awareness rally is started from the University to Selaqui, Dehradun. A group of 45 students took participation and holds the banner and enchanting slogans to stop drug addiction and drug abuse. Rally addresses the public in Selaqui and explained the facts about how drug abuse and anti-drugs are affecting our mental health.
The visit was conceptualized by Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS and Coordinated by Mr Praveen Semwal, Lecturer, UIPS with student coordinators Mr Abhishek, B Pharm 4th Year & Mr Pankaj Singh Karki, D Pharm 2nd Year.
