Uttaranchal College of Nursing, Uttaranchal University organized a workshop on Basic life support (CPR) on 09 October 2023. The workshop started with lamp lighting followed by a welcome address by Dr Satheesh K. S, Principal, UCN, UU. The session started by Dr Rupinder Deol, Associate Professor, College of Nursing, AIIMS, Rishikesh, with Pre-test then explained the aspects of Basic life support to the students along with hands-on training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the help of dummies and simulators. Students learned about CPR and understood how they will perform upon the patient whenever an emergency condition arises. Dr Rupinder Deol demonstrated the procedure to students in different groups and re-demonstrations were given by students. After re-demonstration, the Post-test was conducted. The workshop was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Satheesh, K. S, Principal, UCN and feedback was taken from the students through Google form.
