“Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege, if, 5th of September is observed as Teacher’s Day”,
Cultural Society of Law College Dehradun celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5 September 2023, as a sign of respect for its teaching fraternity. The event started by paying homage to Dr Radhakrishnan as he inspired this day to honor, recognize, and commemorate educators all around the globe. The students and the faculty members along with the team of the Cultural Society gathered to make this event a beautiful one and fill it with joy by performing dance, singing, and stand-up comedies, specially prepared for the teachers.
Beginning with a solo performance by Jitendra, who stole the show with his wonderful voice, a singing sensation indeed, was followed by Krishna, who, with his smooth moves and lyrical dance, took on the stage and impressed the audience with his skills. Mayank, also a born artist, with his sweet voice made a stunning impression on the viewers who adored his singing. The smiles on the faces of teachers were never-ending.
Up next, a surprise performance was held where a Band performed a compilation of various famous Bollywood songs and set the stage on fire with their energetic performance. After this great show, the spirit of all the “Pahadis” was lifted when the Garhwali dance was performed by the students, the enthusiasm among the students along with the faculty members was mesmerizing. The event continued with stand-up comedy presented by Kartikay, who brought back the laughter and became the highlight of the event. Lastly, the show could not end without a Bhangra Dance, which filled the audience with liveliness.
The event was concluded with the speech of Pro Vice- Chancellor and Dean, Law College Dehradun.
