Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) have signed an educational Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a ceremony in New Delhi on 8 August 2023. The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Dr Anuj Kumar Rana, Registrar, Uttaranchal University, Mr Farman Ali, Assistant Professor, CA Vishal Doshi, Chairman, Board of Studies (Academic), ICAI, CA. Dayaniwas Sharma, Vice Chairman, Board of Studies (Academic); CA Vandana D Nagpal, Director, Board of Studies, ICAI, Academicians, Professionals, Government officials and other distinguished invitees.
The objective of this MoU is to extend academic co-operation in B Com, B Com (Hons), M Com and Certificate and Diploma in Commerce Courses and to stimulate and facilitate the development of collaborative and mutually beneficial programmes, which will serve to enhance the intellectual life and cultural development in both organizations.
Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri said in his address that this MoU will be helpful for conducting faculty development programs for the staff, facilitating the process of students seeking jobs with CA firms and enhancing their knowledge through webinars and seminars.
The efforts of Shri Jitender Joshi, Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, Dr Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Dr Satbir Singh Sehgal, Vice President, Uttaranchal University in forging this partnership will undoubtedly shape the trajectories of countless students and professionals.
