Department of Mechanical Engineering-UIT, organized a seminar on "Role of Data Visualization Using Tableau and Power Bi in Mechanical Industry", on 27th February 2023. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr). S.D Pandey Dean UIT, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Joshi (HoD-ME), Mr. Awadhesh Chandramauli (HoD-CE) and faculty members. The speaker of the event was Mr. Sachin Kumar (Chief Technical Officer) and Ms. Pooja Dhiman (Program Manager) from LiveData. Objective of the event was to introduce the techniques such as Tableau, Data Visualization and Power Bi in Mechanical Industry for visualization software that helps create descriptive and interesting visuals in mechanical engineering domain.The astounding part of the event was the participation of an alumnusof Batch (2013-17) Mr. Gaurav Kumar Sharma, of B. Tech.-CSE who is currently working as associate Lead at AMPA- Orthodontics.
