On 27th
February, A webinar was organised by Uttaranchal School of Journalism and Mass
Communication. The purpose of the event was to bring widespread awareness
especially in Journalism and Mass Communication Students about the significance
of Intellectual Property Rights.
The Keynote speaker of
the event was Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Examiner of Patents and Designs, Indian
Patent Office New Delhi, Ministry of commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. Dr.
Manoj guide all the audience during this live session about the various types
of Intellectual Property like, Copyright, patent, Trademark, and he also
discussed about the issues and challenges rising day by day to secure
Intellectual Property at present time.
The webinar was very
informative and comprehensive. At the end Co-ordinator of the event Dr.
Jitendra Sinha thanked the guest speaker and audience. During the session
Faculty memebers, USJMC Mr. Kailash Kandwal, Ms. Roohi Quadri, Mr. Pawan
Dabral, Mr. Rakesh Chandra, Ms. Ankita Singh were present.
