In alignment with its zero-tolerance policy towards campus indiscipline, the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM), Uttaranchal University, organized a comprehensive Anti-Ragging Awareness Session on Wednesday. The event was held as part of the nationwide #YaARI (Youth Against Ragging) initiative to educate new and returning students on maintaining a safe, inclusive, and friendly academic environment.
The session was conducted by Mr. Nitish Bhardwaj, Member Secretary, USHHM. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bhardwaj emphasized the legal frameworks, UGC guidelines, and institutional policies designed to eradicate ragging in all forms. He highlighted that true campus camaraderie thrives on mutual respect, empathy, and constructive mentorship between senior and junior batches.
The program concluded with an interactive Q&A round where faculty members and students discussed strategies to foster collaborative peer relationships across all hospitality batches. University leadership reiterated their commitment to maintaining the institution’s standard as a secure, vibrant hub for academic and professional excellence.
