The School of Applied and Life Sciences organized an industrial visit to Himalaya Wellness Company on 12 August 2026. The visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to the pharmaceutical and wellness industry. Students learned about various aspects of industrial operations, including the processing, quality control, manufacturing, packaging, and marketing of wellness and herbal products.
The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Farooq, President, Himalaya Wellness Company, who interacted with the students and shared valuable insights into the company’s functioning and the importance of research and innovation in the wellness sector. Dr. Sonika Kalia and Dr. Monika Singh accompanied and guided the students throughout the visit. Dr. Suraj, Coordinator, also supported the successful organization and coordination of the visit.
Overall, the industrial visit was highly informative and helped students connect their academic knowledge with real-world industrial practices.
