The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) Club of the Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), Uttaranchal University, organized a successful industrial visit for the 1st Year MBA students to Amato Automative Pvt. Ltd, Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on August 13 August, 2026.
This initiative was organized under the visionary guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM, and Prof. (Dr.) Tillotama Singh, HoD, UIM. Their steadfast commitment to providing students with practical industry exposure continues to drive impactful experiential learning initiatives. The visit was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Bipin Chandra Kandpa and Mr. Parichay Durga, UIM, ensuring a seamless and informative experience for all participants.
During the visit, the students were welcomed by Mr. Tanuj Jauhari, HR Executive at Amato Automative Pvt. Ltd., who facilitated the interaction and provided valuable insights into the organization's operations and professional practices. The industrial visit offered students an opportunity to understand the functioning of an ancillary manufacturing unit of leading Automobile Companies of India engaged in the manufacturing of Car Accessories and gain practical exposure to various aspects of the manufacturing environment. The immersive experience enabled students to observe and understand manufacturing operations, production processes, quality management, workforce coordination, and organizational practices. The interaction with the company's professional representative further helped students connect theoretical management concepts with their practical implementation in an industrial setting.
