Law College Dehradun organized Mulya Pravaah 2.0 – Inculcation of Human Values and Professional Ethics in Higher Education Institutions as a part of ‘Alumni Talk Series’ and Deeksharambh 2026 on 7 August 2026. Advocate Shantanu Gaur, CEO of Lotus Legal Solution and an alumnus of Law College Dehradun was invited as the chief guest. The programme served as an academic platform for deliberating upon the indispensable role of human values and professional ethics in shaping responsible citizens and competent professionals in accordance with the principles of higher education.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial inauguration under the esteemed guidance of Principal, Law College Dehradun, Dr. Poonam Rawat, who extended a warm welcome to the guest and emphasized the significance of integrating human values with academic excellence. The event was further graced by Pro-VC, Uttaranchal University and Dean, Law College Dehradun, Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna, whose presence and encouraging address highlighted the institution's commitment to promoting ethical leadership, professional accountability, and holistic development among students.
The keynote speaker, Adv. Shantanu Gaur, enlightened the audience on the legal, ethical, and professional dimensions of integrity, accountability, transparency, and responsible decision-making in contemporary society. He underscored the importance of upholding constitutional values, professional ethics, and moral responsibility as indispensable attributes of future leaders and professionals. An interactive session enabled students and faculty members to engage in meaningful discussions with the resource person, facilitating an exchange of perspectives on ethical dilemmas, leadership, accountability, and responsible professional practices. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Mr. Kartikeya Chamola, expressing sincere gratitude to Adv.
