The Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences celebrated Teachers’ Day 2026 with great enthusiasm to honour the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the academic, personal, and professional lives of students. The celebration served as a sincere expression of gratitude towards faculty members for their dedication, guidance, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to students’ growth. The programme commenced with a warm welcome speech that acknowledged teachers as mentors, guides, and motivators. The Director, UCHS addressed the gathering and extended warm Teachers’ Day greetings to all faculty members. In their address, the Director appreciated the dedication and sincere efforts of the faculty members in nurturing young minds and guiding students towards academic excellence, professional competence, and responsible citizenship and encouraged students to value the guidance of their teachers and carry forward the ideals of respect, discipline, and lifelong learning.
A vibrant cultural programme brought joy to the celebration. Students showcased their talent through captivating solo, duo, and group dance performances. Melodious solo and group singing performances added to the cheerful atmosphere and received warm appreciation from the faculty members. Fun-filled games were also organised especially for the teachers, creating moments of laughter, relaxation, and interaction between students and faculty.
The celebration concluded with a special cake-cutting ceremony dedicated to the teachers, symbolising the affection and gratitude of the students. The event successfully strengthened the teacher–student bond and reinforced the importance of respect, appreciation, and mutual learning. The celebration was a memorable tribute to the educators whose guidance continues to inspire students to dream, learn, and achieve.
