A little competition, a lot of laughter, and countless memorable moments! Continuing the spirit of Deeksharambh 2026, the Sports Club of the Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS) organized an exciting session of Sports and Fun Game Activities for first-year students on 12 August 2026. The event featured a vibrant lineup of games including Chess, Carom, Mini Basketball, Sky High Challenge, Break the Pyramid, Marshmallow Tower Challenge and Burst the Balloon, creating an energetic and cheerful atmosphere across the campus. Students from MCA, BCA, and B.Sc.-IT programmes participated enthusiastically, adding energy, excitement, and a vibrant spirit to the event.
The competitive spirit was further highlighted through the recognition of winners across various activities. Kaustubh BCA IA emerged as the winner in chess, while Parshnath BCA IB secured the winning position in Carrom. Vash BCA IF won the Mini Basketball activity, and Vanshita BCA ID emerged victorious in the Sky-high Challenge. Sakshi Yadav BCA IF won the Break the Pyramid challenge. The Marshmallow Tower Challenge was won by Salini, Vaishnavi, Sakshi BCA IF, and Sahil BCA ID as a team. Shivam BCA IF secured the winning position in Burst the Balloon. The achievements of the winners added a special highlight to the event and celebrated their enthusiasm, teamwork, coordination, and competitive spirit.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Deepak Pant, Head–Sports Club, along with Mr. Manish Negi, Mr. Aagman Kaparwan, Dr. Rishi Mishra, Mr. Sohrab Ali, Ms. Manisha Saini, Ms. Manisha Khanduja, and the dedicated team of student volunteers. The event was successfully conducted under the able guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD–USCS, whose support and encouragement contributed significantly to the overall success of the programme.
