“Who better to guide students towards the future than those who have already walked the path?” As part of the Deeksharambh 2026 programme, the Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University, organized an engaging Alumni Interaction Session on 12 August 2026. The session provided students with an opportunity to connect with alumni and gain valuable insights into industry trends, career opportunities, professional skills, and career growth.
The session featured distinguished alumni, Ms. Samiya Siddiqui (B.ScIT 2017–20), Consultant, Deloitte, and Mr. Zaid Siddiqui (B.ScIT 2019–22), Senior Salesforce Automation Engineer, Accenture. The alumni were felicitated by Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS, and Prof. (Dr.) Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS, as a gesture of appreciation for their valuable contribution. Their interaction with the students offered an excellent opportunity to connect academic learning with real-world professional experiences, industry expectations, career opportunities, and professional growth.
