The Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM) successfully organized an Extension Activity for Community Engagement on 30th April 2026 at Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Nanda Ki Chowki, Premnagar, Dehradun. The initiative aimed to foster social responsibility and holistic development among young learners as well as undergraduate students.
The activity commenced at 10:30 AM, featuring simple, fun, interactive, and learning-based sessions designed for students from U.K.G. to Class 5. The program emphasized learning by doing rather than theoretical explanations, ensuring active engagement and better understanding among the children. Various engaging activities such as educational support sessions, interactive games, and demonstrations on basic etiquette and good habits were conducted. To encourage and motivate the students, prizes were distributed, and stationery and academic-use items were provided to the school and participating students, supporting their learning needs.
The extension activity proved to be a meaningful initiative, promoting community engagement while providing practical exposure to USHHM students in teamwork, communication, and social service. It also strengthened the institution’s commitment towards community outreach and societal development. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from USHHM students under the guidance of Mr. Vijay Pant, Mr. Nitish Bhardwaj, and Mr. Sanjay Badoni (Assistant Professors, USHHM). Around 100 school students actively took part in the activities, making the event vibrant and impactful.
