Dehradun, December 29, 2025. The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University, successfully conducted the Second Annual Meeting of the Committee for the Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (Registration No. 2350/PO/Re/S/2025/CCSEA) in accordance with CCSEA guidelines.
The meeting reviewed matters related to animal experimentation, ethical compliance, and research proposals involving laboratory animals. The Chairperson welcomed all members and CCSEA nominees, after which agenda items were discussed. CCSEA nominees inspected the animal house, the action taken report from the previous meeting was reviewed, and Form B applications from students and researchers were evaluated.
The committee examined proposed protocols to ensure adherence to ethical standards, animal welfare norms, and regulations, offering suggestions where needed. The proceedings ran smoothly with active participation, concluding with the Chairperson's thanks for valuable input and a formal vote of thanks.
